@Nigel,

Thanks for the motivation.

@Clayton,
Thanks for the encouragement. I have started my affiliate marketing journey earlier than you but I think too much jumping here and there cause me to lose focus. Thus, I am not making consistent sales and online income like you and Ivan.

Yeah like-minded people attract one another just like the drama series Heroes. I do read Ivan's blog as he's a fellow Singaporean that I look up to. It just a waste haven't get a chance to meet him in person but I think one day I will when I make significant amount to be somewhere on par with him first.

Hey Javier,

Don't get down on yourself for not making enough with online marketing. Yeah, I know it can feel pretty bad when you're first getting started and you're only making a few sales a month. All your friends laugh at you and tell you to "get real." I've been there myself.

But what makes what people like you and me different from the guy at McDonald's is that we're investing our time now so that we can make money without actively working in the future. As soon as the guy that works at McDonalds leaves work, he stops making money, but online marketers can make money in their sleep, while watching a movie, while on vacation...

It took me 3 months of consistent 8-hour days when I first started before I even started to see consistent sales. That was a pretty rough time in my life. Don't give up. If someone like me (a former McDonald's employee--really!), then you can do this too.

-Clayton

PS: You read Ivan Ong's blog too? Sometimes it really amazes me how small the internet can be :)

Yeah Javier

I think we need to constantly push ourselves beyond our comfort zone, that's the only way we'd keep growing. Kudos to you man, and keep working at it. I believe in you, and I believe you will get to where you want to be. =)

Hey Ivan,

Thanks for dropping by my blog. Trying to push myself over the comfort zone to get myself the results by doing the things that I have not tried before and I believe persistence and consistence will somehow work one day.

Cheers

Hey Javier....

Consistency is the key to online success...

you need to be very consistent in the effort you
put in and have the never say die attitude...

Keep pushing yourself to the limit and see how far you
can go... even if it means lesser sleep, more backaches
and more snacking on tidbits... Make sure you do it!

Hey Javier, nice to see your goals publicly posted. Goal number 2 will be easily achieved, goal no 1 with some training, will be ok for you. Think goal number 3 is my favorite. =) Have you considered too putting a time line? Perhaps lay out a milestones/roadmaps to ensure you'd reach the finish line come end of the year eg by Sept will be consistently earning 3 figures and by 31 dec the 4 figure?
